Rectifiers
AC to DC rectifiers are electrical devices that convert AC (Alternating Current) voltage to DC (Direct Current).
The AC to DC rectifier is great for providing redundancy or high power output and our AC to DC rectifiers can be used as:
- a power supply
- a battery charger (when combined with batteries)
- a DC UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
When used as a DC UPS, low battery voltage disconnect (LVD) circuitry is available. It monitors the battery voltage and disconnects when low voltage is sensed, extending battery life and preventing over discharge.

Opposite to the AC to DC power system is the DC to AC sinewave output inverter. These change DC to AC and allow current to flow in the reverse direction.
