The Jorvik Viking Centre in York is an iconic attraction that draws visitors from all over the world. Unfortunately, last January, the centre was hit by flooding, causing significant damage to the electrical systems. But, with re-imaging works underway, it was time to take a critical step forward in getting things back up and running.
That's when Cetronic was called upon to replace the existing UPS with a new Master Plus 30kVA. This was a major undertaking, but our team was up to the challenge. We knew how important it was to get the centre back online and ready to welcome visitors once again.
The new UPS is set to power the ride in the event of a power failure, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a seamless experience without any interruptions. And, with the centre due to reopen on 8th April 2017, time was of the essence.
It's always a privilege to work on projects like this, knowing that we're helping to restore an important part of our cultural heritage. We're proud to have played a role in getting the Jorvik Viking Centre back up and running, and we're confident that the new Master Plus 30kVA UPS will provide reliable and long-lasting power for many years to come.
