Can I get a small UPS to be hardwired input and/or output, rather than plug-in?

Yes. We can modify a small UPS having IEC input and output connectors.

It’s typically a box mounted onto the back of the UPS, with DIN terminals for connections. These types of UPS units are often referred to as "hardwired UPS" or "direct-wired UPS."

A hardwired UPS is suitable for applications where a more permanent and secure electrical connection is preferred over a standard plug-in connection. If you require a hardwired setup please get in touch and we can discuss the options that are available.

What is a hard wired UPS System?

A hardwired UPS system is a type of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) that is directly connected to the electrical system of a building or facility using hardwired connections, such as electrical wires and conduits.

Unlike standard UPS units that come with plug-in cords for connecting to power outlets, hardwired UPS systems are to be installed by a qualified electrician (our team) and connected directly to the building's electrical distribution system.
