AC/DC Power Systems

inverters

With over 50 years of experience here at Cetronic Power Solutions, we aim to provide you with access to a variety of equipment that ensures uninterrupted access to power in your workplace and continuity of your business. One variety of equipment that we offer you to ensure this is our range of AC/DC secure power systems.

What are AC/DC Systems?

AC/DC systems in short are electrical systems that use both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) to transmit and distribute electrical power. These systems work in various roles, from power generation and distribution to electronic devices. There are two types of systems available, Inverters/Modular inverters and Rectifiers/Modular rectifiers.

Our Range of AC/DC Systems

We offer a range of AC/DC systems which can be used as power suppliers, battery chargers or as an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) when used in conjunction with batteries. Installing one of these AC/DC systems between your critical equipment and the mains power coming into your building would enable you to protect your systems from power fluctuations or failures, one of the worst nightmares of any business. Low battery voltage disconnect (LVD) circuitry is included with these systems so they can also be used as a DC UPS.

We also offer a range of DC/AC sinewave output inverters which we can offer in modular, stand-alone or 19” mounted rack enclosures. Whatever your requirements, you can rest assured that we at Cetronic will be able to offer you the right solution.

Inverters/Modular inverters

Our DC to AC inverters are available at several different input voltages from as low as 12 VDC to 220 VDC, enabling you to select the best choice to power your equipment. Our inverters are available in free standing form or a 19” rack.

These inverters come with the option of pure sinewave output which can provide regulated power matching the power supplied by your local utility company, enabling your AC equipment to last longer and work more efficiently.

Our inverters also come with the option of a static bypass switch. While a static bypass is often part of the internal circuitry of a UPS, this option of an external switch offers you the benefit of being able to invoke the static bypass manually in cases of fault or high onrush.

Our modular inverters are available with the same range of input voltages and also come with an output distribution option enabling AC power to be distributed as required.

Rectifiers/Modular rectifiers

Cetronic's AC to DC rectifiers cover a smaller range of output voltages from 12Vdc, 24Vdc and 48Vdc. Single phase units are available which can cover a current of up to 50A.

As with our inverters, our rectifiers are available free standing or in a wall or 19” rack form so you can select the choice that best suits your needs. We also offer DIN rail units which will allow you to mount the rectifier inside your electrical equipment.

Modular rectifiers are available up to higher output voltages, covering up to the full range 12VDC to 220VDC. Our rectifiers can cover modules up to a power of 4.4KW or system currents of up to 8,000A. This means that no matter what happens, we will have the right rectifier to suit your needs.

Please tell us of your requirements and a Cetronic representative will be able to help you select the best option. Contact Us Today!
